Meet Lynn Yamada Davis, She was born in July 1956, She is Japanese American Tik Tok content creator. Lynn Yanada, also known as Lynja, She Has almost 30 million followers on different social media platforms. Lynn was popular for her cooking series called Cooking with Lynja. Unfortunately, She has died at the age of 67. In this article we are going to cover her life journey. 

Lynn Yamada Davis was a creator on Tik Tok,  Lynn was  Popular for her cooking, and has a channel called Cooking with Lynja. Lynn Yamada Davis, the TikTok star behind Cooking With Lynja, passed away on January 1 in Red Bank, New Jersey. She was 67 years old. The cause of her death was esophageal cancer, as confirmed by her daughter, Hannah Mariko Shofet. Lynn lived in Holmdel, New Jersey.

Even after Lynn Yamada Davis passed away, her social media accounts are still active. Before she died, she asked her son to share videos they had already prepared. In one video, they are seen searching for truffles in Italy.  Lynn’s son, Mr. Davis, who is 27 years old, managed the TikTok account and described his mom as his partner in crime. Lynn also wanted him to share some older videos they made together about ten years ago. These early videos were a way for Mr. Davis to learn his mom’s cooking and create a kind of time capsule.  Once all the last Cooking With Lynja videos are shared, Mr. Davis mentioned that the account will stop posting new content.

Cooking With Lynja started in 2020 and got famous with a video where the five-foot-tall Ms. Davis made a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich while doing some fun dance moves. Around one million people started following her unique content, and now, the account has over 17 million followers. Companies noticed her success, and sponsors began reaching out to her.

Lynn Yamada was born on July 31, 1956, in New York City and grew up in Fort Lee, N.J. Her father, Tadao Yamada, was a businessman, and her mother, Mabel Fujisake Yamada, managed the household.

She graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1977 with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and earned a master’s degree in business administration and public health from Columbia Business School.
